At Livensa Living Marquês de Pombal, you’ll be just a step away from Avenida de Liberdade, a famous shopping street. If you keep walking in the same direction, you’ll reach the famous Chiado district and the Praça do Comércio, with unparalleled views of the Tejo River. It’s just a short walk from Livensa Living Cidade Universitária to the Parque Eduardo VII, which is located in the city centre; from there, you can walk on to see the rest of the city. Or you can always take the metro from the residence!

Lisbon is an multi-cultural city full of life where you can meet people from all over the world. Whether at the beach or in the city centre, there’s always something to do in Lisbon.

For thrill-seekers, the beaches around Lisbon, such as Costa da Caparica and Guincho, are perfect for bodyboarding and surfing, as is Carcavelos. But if you’d rather just catch some rays, these beaches are also for you.

For food and wine lovers, the areas around Chiado, Alfama and Praça de Comércio are ideal places to try typical Portuguese food and drink. At night, Lisbon has many places where students from all over the world gather, such as Bairro Alto, Santos and Cais do Sodré.

If you like to hit the dance floor, we’ve also got places for you. There are heaps of nightclubs, including Lux Frágil, Lá no Rio, K Urban Beach and the famous Rua Cor de Rosa in Cais do Sodré, all places to dance and have a drink.
